Sounds Islamic To me
Indian officials would seem to attribute this to Pakistani Muslims.
Officials said eight explosions hit the evening rush-hour trains packed with thousands of people. No group claimed responsibility for the attack, the largest the city has experienced in years. Officials and security analysts said the coordinated explosions shared similarities to recent bomb attacks by Kashmiri militants, who in October set off three bomb blasts in markets in the capital city of New Delhi, killing more than 60 people.
Sorry, I just can't find it anywhere within myself to be surprised. This is how Islam operates.

These attacks are another manifestation of Islamic terrorism. See the information in the comments section HERE. I'm certain that the investigation into the attacks will prove the origin of same.

The Yahoooooo! and Reuters links were in enough "permissably (from a security standpoint) knowable" detail to inform anyone of known events, except maybe Mr. Ducky, who gets an admirable shellacking for his trouble, LOL.
I had followed the comment thread up until today, only because I slept majorly late and hadn't yet been online.
Your review was great, and the links in the comment section, including to Jacoby's column (I'm going to buy the novel, it sounds like a good and possibly informative read) were well worth reading.
