Tom Tancredo For President!
In Tom Tancredo, we have a strong conservative who is committed to goals such as limited government, the right of American citizens to keep and bear arms, secure borders and realistic immigration laws. He looks to me like the ideal Republican candidate for 2008, and I certainly hope he runs.
Here’s his condensed bio as it appears on his website:
Congressman Tom Tancredo was born and raised in Colorado. The grandson of an Italian immigrant grandfather, Tom Tancredo worked his way through college to become a school teacher, a legislator, a leader in President Reagan’s renewal of America, a principled conservative thinker and Republican leader.
Representative Tancredo was first elected to Congress in 1998. Tom is now running for his fourth term in the U.S. House of Representatives. Tom serves on the International Relations Committee, the Resources Committee and the all-important Budget Committee. In addition, Congressman Tancredo formed and is Chairman of the 72 member Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus.
For more background on Congressman Tancredo and a read of his ongoing works, this is his official website.
My blog friend Raven over at And Rightly So has begun a Tancredo blog roll to include any fellow bloggers interested in posting endorsements for or news concerning Tom Tancredo.
While the man is running for another term as a Colorado representative, it is my belief and that of others that he could better serve his country from the Oval Office.
There is a website that refers to itself as the “unofficial Tom Tancredo for President” website that’s also well worth a good perusal here.
Together, perhaps we can plant the seed that might grow and blossom into a campaign at the end of which the right politician wins the Presidency in 2008.

Yes…Tancredo is my guy for the White House.
I know a lot people think it is too soon to be worrying about this; I know a lot of people don’t think Tom would have a chance. BUT we have to start somewhere right? I think he has more support than many give him credit for.
Thanks for the linky love:)

That’s why we need to have as many bloggers as possible putting out the word — it may bring out supporters whose profusion might make a run by T.T. more of a possibility.
Here’s hoping!

Absolutely! We need to get Tom on a ticket.

If we elect Tom to the White House next, the term “angry left” will have to be updated to “apoplectic left”. That will assure even further political self destruction on their side of the aisle as their loud, childish, slanderous abuse transfers from Bush to Tancredo.
