Introducing the epitome of the Obama constituency:

With what we alluded to recently regarding the impossible election results (going from 50-50 Romney/Obama polls in Ohio to a veritable shutout in O’s favor to all those precincts in Philadelphia that produced 100% of votes going to Obama, for example), this one from Conservative Videos is a definite MUST WATCH.

First there were some reports about people at the polls in various states voting (electronically) for Romney/Ryan and seeing the screens indicate that their votes had been cast for Obama/Chipmunk Biden, now there’s this:

None.

And the unofficial vote tallies have President Barack Obama beating the former Massachusetts governor by a combined vote of 19,605 to 0, The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Yes, Obama has another four years as Saboteur President of the United States.

Knowing that the Democrats have a track record for monkeying around with elections, everything from registering their dogs and dead relatives to vote to pushing for illegal aliens’ voting rights (just don’t make it mandatory for the people manning the polls to check ID, etc), there will always be those stories about the rigged voting booths where Romney-Ryan votes somehow came out marking the Obama-Biden column, and stories like this one.

Forest Park is a city of about 19,000 residents in the northern suburbs of Cincinnati, Ohio, in Hamilton County. In 2008, Hamilton County voted for Barack Obama while most of the surrounding counties in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana voted Republican.

With so many eyes on Ohio in yesterday’s election, it was no surprise to see this news story on the local news.

A couple from Forest Park showed up yesterday at the polls to vote just like they have ever since they turned 18. When it was their turn, they were both told that they had already voted via absentee ballot. The couple said that they have never voted absentee and wanted to know how this could happen.

Precinct officials told them that they could fill out a provisional ballot, which they did.

Before long, a number of other voters in the same precinct were told the same thing, that they had already voted via absentee ballots and that they also needed to fill out a provisional ballot. Eventually, voting officials said that the mistake was due to ‘human error’ and that anyone else in the same situation would likewise have to cast a provisional ballot. In Ohio, provisional ballots are not counted until 10 days after the election.

Be that as it may, of course, there won’t be any further investigation of such events as any kind of official matter, there never is when the Democrats profit from anything.

That said, there was an article in today’s inbox that is pretty on-point where discussing the future of our country is concerned based on a historical observation, and that is here.

We’ve reached the tipping point, folks. This election was the last hope for the American republic. We are now brazenly running toward Greece. How that will manifest in the coming years remains to be seen. We will certainly see our healthcare quality crumble, while costs soar–which has already begun; we will see spending continue to skyrocket; we will see entitlement programs expand, and we will see our country fall.

This reminds me of something Professor Alexander Tyler wrote in 1787. Tyler was a Scottish lawyer and writer. He came up with what I refer to as The Seven Steps of Democracy. Each step follows a sequence that begins with bondage and ultimately ends right back where it started.

Frightening, but applicable:

1. From Bondage to spiritual faith: The English colonists of the United States felt they were being oppressed, and began to inspire a spiritual and political awakening.

2. From spiritual faith to great courage: The religiously and politically oppressed colonists finally decided to rebel against England and take their independence.

3. From courage to liberty: The courage to start a rebellion led to a revolution against England, and ultimately a victory.

4. From liberty to abundance: After victory, we grew as a nation. We experienced an industrial revolution, and soon our country sat in abundance.

5. From abundance to complacency: As a country, we became complacent in our wealth and comfort.

6. From complacency to apathy: Following that, we began to lose our ability to care about what happened in the country, particularly in politics. We began to accept larger government in our lives, without much thought as to how it would later effect us.

7. From apathy to dependence: As the government grew, we began to rely on the government to take care of us and provide for us. We began to rely on social security, welfare, food-stamps, and other programs.

8. From dependence back into bondage: Out of this growing dependency, we will fall farther and farther down the rabbit hole, and find ourselves in Greece. Financial collapse, riots, social decline, and ultimately bondage. Then we are back where we started.

Right back where we started from?

Not!

Unfortunately, with the dialogue of communist style totalitarianism having been introduced into the mix and seemingly riding like a pilot fish alongside today’s Democrats as the remora does beside the shark, what we considered unacceptable on the part of the British back in colonial times might just be a drop in the bucket compared to what could well lay in store for us.

A system of government in which the state plans and controls the economy and a single, often authoritarian party holds power, claiming to make progress toward a higher social order in which all goods are equally shared by the people.

Now THAT sounds like an Obama style future, and should we reach that juncture, we can rightfully blame every last ignorant soul that voted to reelect this president even after they had four years’ worth of opportunity to see the lies, the disregard for the Constitution and the contempt for everything else American.

I mean, I mean, are we going to have to go through something like this to get things right again?

Bad News.

Not hardly.

He doesn’t need four more years to completely derail our nation, only a percentage of that time, and make no mistake about it, he has said himself that he intends to continue his dubious “successful” work.

For years, the left (”useful idiots”, by Vladimir Ilyich Lenin’s definition) have ever so slowly, ever so gradually, set the stage for what is now coming to pass, from the immense expense of government safety nets to catch the financial downtrodden as increasing taxation, stifling regulation and greedy unions ran the manufacturing jobs that were once the backbone of America out of the country, off to third world nations with infinitely less regulation, no minimum wage and no collective bargaining, eroded the moral fabric of our country and dumbed down education with an end to stripping us of much of our liberty and increasing the dependence of the masses on the government for sustenance.

They have succeeded in all the above regards, not least in the education arena, where the majority of our youth nowadays grows up with little to no knowledge of civics and/or Constitutional awareness.

Result:

Winner Obama and the far left.

Loser The American people and, in large part, many of our nation’s friends and allies.

In the words of somebody or other, “Bummer!”

Having spent Hurricane Sandy in Manhattan with friends (Wolf and I live out in the Hamptons, so these friends practically dragged me off to “safety” before the hurricane arrived), I haven’t been near a working computer for a few days (we are in the lower quadrant of Manhattan, and haven’t had any electricity for a few days thanks to a ConEd transformer blowing up due to contact with sea water). I just now found a library that’s open in upper Manhattan.

So.

This will likely be my final post before Tuesday, on which day we will hopefully fire Barack Hussein Obama and engage Mitt Romney as our President-Elect. Hope, as they say, springs eternal.

A couple of reasons, here, as to why a vote to reelect Obama would be a profound error of judgement on the part of any sane American.

One comes from Ann Coulter.

The single most important issue in this election is ending the national nightmare of Obamacare.

If Obamacare is not stopped, it will permanently change the political culture of this country. There will be no going back. America will become a less productive, less wealthy nation. What wealth remains will have to be plowed into Obamacare — to the delight only of the tens of thousands of government bureaucrats administering it.

There won’t be one moment marking the end of America. Everything will just gradually get worse, like trains and the tax code, until a bustling, prosperous nation is as distant a memory as pleasurable train travel and one-page tax returns.

As with all liberal schemes requiring lots of government workers – which is the Democrats’ true constituency – liberals claimed there was a crisis of millions of uninsured — an enormity of human suffering that nothing would stop except a massive federal solution.

There was no crisis. Poor people have Medicaid. Liberals got around this implacable fact by defining as “uninsured” any poor person who hadn’t been to the doctor yet. But if they’re poor, then they’re eligible for Medicaid. It’s like saying people who haven’t applied for driver’s licenses are being “denied the right to drive.”

What were their specific beefs with health insurance? Democrats could never come up with anything good.

The other arrives via GOPUSA dot com, and makes one ask, “How can we vote to reelect an administration that countenances this?”

The real story about what happened at the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya in which four Americans were killed just gets worse and worse. Not only did Barack Obama and his team perpetuate a lie for nearly two weeks as to the cause of the attack, but in breaking news, we are now learning that during the attack, Americans called out for help, and were denied any assistance.

In an exclusive report by Fox News, sources who were on the ground in Benghazi during the attack say “an urgent request from the CIA annex for military back-up during the attack on the U.S. consulate and subsequent attack several hours later was denied by U.S. officials — who also told the CIA operators twice to “stand down” rather than help the ambassador’s team when shots were heard at approximately 9:40 p.m. in Benghazi on Sept. 11.”

Former Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods was part of a small team who was at the CIA annex about a mile from the U.S. consulate where Ambassador Chris Stevens and his team came under attack. When he and others heard the shots fired, they informed their higher-ups at the annex to tell them what they were hearing and requested permission to go to the consulate and help out. They were told to “stand down,” according to sources familiar with the exchange. Soon after, they were again told to “stand down.”

Woods and at least two others ignored those orders and made their way to the consulate which at that point was on fire. Shots were exchanged. The rescue team from the CIA annex evacuated those who remained at the consulate and Sean Smith, who had been killed in the initial attack. They could not find the ambassador and returned to the CIA annex at about midnight.

At that point, they called again for military support and help because they were taking fire at the CIA safe house, or annex. The request was denied.

The right thinking choice for this Tuesday is a foregone conclusion, and his name is Mitt Romney.

It’s so amusing as to border on the pitiful that the Democrats, for whom every kind of election fraud from bundling and registering dead people to slipping illegal aliens into the polls should be “up in arms” over some highly unlikely theory that the Republicans are the ones engaging in election cheating.

They’ve actually invited the kommie and terrorist championing United Nations, that corrupt body of left wing global weaselhood, in to monitor our elections to ensure that the GOP doesn’t cheat.

United Nations-affiliated election monitors from Europe and central Asia will be at polling places around the U.S. looking for voter suppression activities by conservative groups, a concern raised by civil rights groups during a meeting this week. The intervention has drawn criticism from a prominent conservative-leaning group combating election fraud.

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), a United Nations partner on democratization and human rights projects, will deploy 44 observers from its human rights office around the country on Election Day to monitor an array of activities, including potential disputes at polling places. It’s part of a broader observation mission that will send out an additional 80 to 90 members of parliament from nearly 30 countries.

Liberal-leaning civil rights groups met with representatives from the OSCE this week to raise their fears about what they say are systematic efforts to suppress minority voters likely to vote for President Obama.

The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, the NAACP and the ACLU, among other groups, warned this month in a letter to Daan Everts, a senior official with OSCE, of “a coordinated political effort to disenfranchise millions of Americans — particularly traditionally disenfranchised groups like minorities.”

What a bunch of….

The request for foreign monitoring of election sites drew a strong rebuke from Catherine Engelbrecht, founder and president of True the Vote, a conservative-leaning group seeking to crack down on election fraud.

“These activist groups sought assistance not from American sources, but from the United Nations,” she said in a statement to The Hill. “The United Nations has no jurisdiction over American elections.”

Neil Simon, director of communications for the OSCE’s parliamentary assembly, agreed the U.N. does not have jurisdiction over U.S. elections but noted all OSCE member counties, which include the United States, have committed since 1990 to hold free and democratic elections and to allow one another to observe their elections.

The observers, from countries such as Germany, France, Serbia, Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, will observe voting at polling places and other political activity.

This must be what they call “blissful ignorance”, a state that seems extraordinarily common among a soon-to-be and newly voting aged generation that carries some sort of pre-requisite that one must stumble along among the public staring at a hand-held wireless display and a pair of ear buds firmly in place… don’t pay attention to where they’re going nor what’s happening around them while being effectively deafened by those ear buds and the music therefrom, apparently applying the same conscientious attention they don’t bother to pay to politics, ensuring that when they go to the polls on election day they’ll vote “bumper sticker”, since that particular left-handed propaganda technique has been perfected by a long host of totalitarian regimes… give the little air heads some simple slogans, don’t expect them to have to study the Constitution, read the fine print in the itemized “accomplishments” of an Executive Branch or other branches of Government or go over the details of a bill, line by line.

But who can go wrong with bumper stickers when it comes to debating points, right?

Those are the only three kinds of people who could possibly want to vote for Barack Hussein Obama’s reelection.

America haters, obviously. Information challenged… these are the idjits who listen to all the lefty hyperbole and think CNN, the NYT, MSN and the rest of that ilk are honest, fair or even remotely patriotic disseminators of current events. Entitlement parasites; these are largely people (apartment dwellers, according to the new liberal interpretation) who grew up in welfare families and who believe a hard day’s work is sitting in social services offices all day vying for free housing and monthly checks, both on the backs of the taxpayer, who do not believe they should have to work like most people.

So the above will have no problem voting for a “progressive” whose greatest skill is lying.

And the lies that prompted the above video were only a few among many.

Obama Was Golfing While Bin Laden Plan Unfolded Without Him

The Obama Administration has repeatedly spiked the football on President Obama’s “brave call” to order the killing of Osama bin Laden.

Given the Administration’s policy of placating enemies, it was the one event that stood out as demonstrating something like an American backbone.

According to a new report, however, the White House’s version of how it all happened is a lie.

Retired U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Paul E. Vallely has produced a report citing an insider intelligence source that claims the mission to kill bin Laden was hatched and given the go-ahead by Intelligence Director Leon Panetta and other White House staffers who deliberately kept the president out of the loop until the last minute.

According to the report, the reason Panetta, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Defense Secretary Robert Gates, Adm. Bill Mullen and Gen. David Petraeus went behind the president’s back is because Obama had rejected three previous kill missions on bin Laden earlier in the year.

Panetta was the leader of the subversives and signed off on the final “go” order. Only after the SEALs were committed did anyone go find Obama on the golf course and clue him in.

Obama “did not know of the raid in Abbottabad to kill Osama bin Laden on May 1, 2011, until after the helicopters with SEAL Team 6 had crossed into Pakistani airspace,” Vallely wrote.

And the Godfather Politics article migrates into still darker territory:

According to the book “Leading From Behind,” Obama’s chief adviser Valerie Jarrett was the person who convinced Obama to reject previous plans to get bin Laden.

The Iranian-born Jarrett is the power behind the throne in the White House. Although her religious affiliation is unknown (the media apparently forgot to ask), she was named Iranian of the Day in 2008 by Iranian.com, and she is the Administration’s voice in meetings with Muslim activists.

By all accounts, Obama doesn’t make a move without Jarrett’s advice. So Jarrett was the primary roadblock to taking out bin Laden, and it was to get around her that Panetta and company kept Obama in the dark.

Given the recent Libya coverup and allegations of Muslim Brotherhood infiltration of the Administration, it’s reasonable to ask if Jarrett might not be the Brotherhood’s connection to Obama’s leash.

Whether she is or not, one of Obama’s most trumpeted accomplishments, the killing of bin Laden, apparently is just another Administration lie.

During the course of the national elections in Egypt the Obama Administration actively supported the Muslim Brotherhood. Secular and Christian Egyptians could not believe that the United States ignored them to support the militant Brotherhood. As we know, the Brotherhood took control of Egypt’s political system.

A few weeks ago, the Obama Administration and Bill Clinton used the opening of the UN’s General Assembly to put a civilized face on the Brotherhood by escorting Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood President Mohamed Morsi. Bill Clinton gave Morsi a prominent role in his Global forum.

This week, the spiritual guide for Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood called for Jihad to take back Jerusalem. In his diatribe he said that negotiations will not work only Jihad.

This is the man the United States government helped get into power and now they want to give them over $400 million in aid paid for American taxpayers.

Oh, yes, and remember the “Stimulus” Bill?

With little notice, inspectors generals across federal agencies are piecing together criminal and civil cases into stimulus money that was misspent, wasted or defrauded.

The government’s chief spending watchdogs have already secured nearly 600 convictions and judgments against people and companies accused of misusing stimulus funds and have a whopping 1,900 investigations currently open into possible wrongdoing, officials say.

The wave of scrutiny more than three years after the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act was passed by Congress early in the Obama administration means the question of how money was managed early in the program is certain to extend well into the next year as many of the current investigations come to conclusion.

The Recovery Board charged with coordinating efforts among than inspectors generals at more than two dozen federal agencies that distributed stimulus money posted an item on its official blog last month claiming the total amount of money lost to fraud from the $840 billion stimulus program was a miniscule $11.1 million so far.

Vice President Joe Biden even made reference to the figure as he defended the stimulus program from attacks from Republican Rep. Paul Ryan during the vice presidential debate last Thursday. But that number only identifies money that is considered lost to fraud and does not include funds still under investigation or those recommended for reimbursement after audits identified misspending, officials said.

And a senior official familiar with the ongoing investigations by inspectors generals at federal agencies told the Washington Guardian the government expects the loss figure to balloon in coming months.

“These cases often take months or years, and we’ve got hundreds open right now across the government so that number is going to go up, probably by a large amount over the next 18 months,” the official said, speaking only on condition of anonymity because the official was not authorized to speak to the media.

Since the blog post a month ago that released the $11 million figure, several inspectors generals have announced new convictions, prosecutions or audits, a sign that some of the investigations are growing near decisions and actions.

Hmmmm…

For instance, the Energy Department inspector general reported last week it discovered the California energy commission collected two duplicate payments under a stimulus program that costs taxpayers $678,000 and and it recommended the money be repaid.

The Health and Human Services inspector general reported recently that a Louisiana group that received stimulus funds for Head Start programs for children had inappropriately spent nearly $1.2 million in federal funds to construct a new building that wasn’t approved by federal officials. The group is contesting the finding.

The Energy Department inspector general also warns in its most recent semiannual report that the Western Area Power Administration, which received $3.25 billion in borrowing authority to help build transmission lines under the stimulus law, is at risk of losing significant money on a transmission project for wind power in Montana that it funded.

“WAPA has significant financial exposure on the project … encountering significant delays and cost overruns,” the IG warned.
