FCC Moves to Regulate Internet–Even Though the Law Calls for Internet to be ‘Unfettered by Federal or State Regulation’

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) voted on Thursday to begin the formal process of bringing the Internet under greater federal control – a move sought by both President Barack Obama and FCC Chairnman Julius Genachowski–even though federal law calls for an Internet “unfettered by Federal or State regulation.”
This step comes after the federal D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals in April rebuked the FCC in its attempt to enforce a controversial regulatory doctrine called Net Neutrality, which would allow the government to prevent private Internet providers from deciding which applications to allow on their networks.
Given that his cabinet members speak on behalf of his policies, I think the above speaks for itself as regards the worthiness, or lack thereof, of Barak Obama to be a President of the United States.

Why fascism?
There is a certain amount of objectionable content out there, and maybe a few accessible applications that might facilitate the breaking of some laws.
Since we’re not all computer acrobats, the government may feel they need to protect us from some of this content.

The only things Obama and Co. find objectionable on the Web are conservative opinion, Judeo-Christian thought and anything of a patriotic American nature.

The only way for the Dems to continue to hold power is to shut down the free exchange of information. After all, it is the worldwide web where we find all the information as to the “secret” doings of this power grab in Washington.

The left has found it very effective to hurl accusations at opponents accusing them of doing, in essence, what they themselves do.
They are racists, they are fascists whenever they get into power anyplace and tend to also “brand” opposition as doing exactly what the left is.

Agreed. Throughout the last century, everyone with a far left turn of mind has thrived on spreading disinformation or “editing” information before its release to the public.
This is because the people would object and perhaps even rebel if they knew their governments’ true intentions.
There is no reason why their kinfolk, the Obamanites, should be expected to act any differently.
