What The Hell Has Happened…

…to Great Britain? The English! The Brits!???

England has got to be the single most globally streetwise nation on earth — in the history of their great country, they have had colonies all over the world, learning first-hand of copious diverse cultures, religious customs, governance systems, ethnic mindsets and so forth and Englishmen travel the globe as easily and familiarly as most others move about their own countries, yet their government sits by and not only allows Islam to transition her gradually into the realm of the Sha’aria, but also prosecutes those who protest this disgraceful surrender.

This is unacceptable.

The Brits need to have an aggressive chat with their politicians, pronto!

I too have just posted on this after reading it at “The Gates of Vienna”. This is beyond belief.

  2. Seth Says:

    Shoprat –

Totally outrageous, and of great concern — one wonders when the PC forces in our own government will start thinking along the same lines as their British counterparts, First Amendment notwithstanding.

  3. Gayle Says:

What Shoprat said! We have too many idiots here already who think we should bow down and kiss the buts of those practicing extremist Islam! England should be ashamed of itself!

  4. Seth Says:

    Gayle –

I’m kind of curious as to what the average Englishman/woman is thinking. They are, after all, a democracy. I should have thought that constituencies would be hammering their Parliament folks on matters of British sovereignty, as we did with Congress over the “Immigration Reform/amnesty” issue last year…and won.

    Seth,
I’m finally getting over here to let you know of Lionheart’s pligh–the last 24 hours have been very intense for me, as you might imagine, my being a friend of Lionheart’s–and you’ve already gotten the information.

Lionheart is planning to be our guest for the hour on the next edition of The Gathering Storm Radio Show on Friday, January 11. Information about the show is at my site, and the promo posting will go up no later than Wednesday, January 9.

    AOW —

I’ll be there for that, listening live and will most likely call in.

This blogger is getting screwed, for telling the truth, by a government that should listen to him rather than prosecute him.

We as, collectively, the western world, should be infinitely more vigilant as to whom we tolerate in our sovereign nations and whom we don’t. The seemingly innocent La Di Dahs of political correctness and multi-culturalism are saturating western countries with erosive elements that will eventually deprive us of such things as national identity and, as these influences work their way into our political systems, our respective freedoms and cultures.

Those soldiers are British citizens, so I must repeat what I said in reply to Gayle’s comment:

I’m kind of curious as to what the average Englishman/woman is thinking. They are, after all, a democracy. I should have thought that constituencies would be hammering their Parliament folks on matters of British sovereignty, as we did with Congress over the “Immigration Reform/amnesty” issue last year…and won.

The Brits have, seemingly in the majority, moved somewhat to the left of late. The single biggest flaw in portside reasoning is the assumption that everyone (except, of course, conservatives of any stripe) has everyone else’s best interests at heart or even, for that matter, gives a damn about everyone else, and everyone (except, again, conservatives of any stripe) is guileless in every way possible…

… At least, until they take over their respective governments, then, historically, all rights become subject to the approval of government security services on a case by case basis.

The Brits’ media is, for the most part, even more irresponsible than our own. So…

  9. Always On Watch Says:

    Seth,
If the phone lines are jammed (They just might be as this story is picking up speed!), try accessing the chat room at the show’s web site.

  10. Seth Says:

    AOW –

    Will do.

  11. wordsmith Says:

Outrageous. I just saw this on Gayle’s blog.

  12. Seth Says:

    Wordsmith –

Another double standard. Imams can preach hate and violence in their mosques, but anyone who exposes this is a criminal.

A British friend has told me that their government has moved far enough left that they actually make no bones about rejecting conservative opinion out-of-hand. They have reached the very level that we, as American conservatives, are fighting tooth and nail to keep our own country from reaching.

As voters, we wield an influence that right thinkers in the UK no longer have, unless they are liberals, and we must keep it so!

  13. BB-Idaho Says:

This Lionheart UK character is mildly interesting, probably taking the nick name of Richard I Coeur d’Lion because he was such a ferocious crusader. If I recall correctly from Gibbon’s ‘Decline &..’, Richard’s proclivity to slaughter prisoners as they slowed him down led to such a reputation among the Saracens that for generations, mother’s warned their
kids that if they didn’t obey, ‘Malik Rik’ would get them. But, in looking at the guy’s profile, he is an accountant. After a lifetime in business, I just can’t get up much enthusiasm for accountants. So, has the chap been arrested..or is this one of those publicity stunt things?

  14. Seth Says:

    BB –

As I understand the circumstances, Lionheart is abroad at the moment and has learned that there is an arrest warrant awaiting him on his return to England. The charges are related to his blogging the truth about Islam, which, given the political climate in the UK, has enabled him to be legally accused of incitement to hate crimes (you know, the kind of stuff they foment in mosques all over the same country, except that that’s what their left-dominated government calls “religious freedom”), upon conviction for which could incur stiff sentencing.

Just another way to shut someone up when he discusses inconvenient truths, in a public forum, that don’t go with the liberal line — the Brits’ freedom of speech privileges don’t extend quite as far as ours do, and they are apparently afflicted over there with the very product our own left is trying to force upon us over here.

Sadly, given the globalistic attitude that prevails, precedents can, today, be set between countries rather than merely between courts in states within countries.

Observing thus, it doesn’t take a profound stretch of the imagination to foresee the portside powers in our own Senate enacting laws that can be interpreted in such ways as to silence those whose discourse is dangerous to their political agendas. Such legislation can be easily sugar-coated and promoted, using decency as a front, to appear protective of potential victims, while actually constituting a legal weapon to silence dissent.

  15. wordsmith Says:

Another double standard. Imams can preach hate and violence in their mosques, but anyone who exposes this is a criminal.

That just might be the most insane part, right there! If there was some consistency, at least. If Lionheart is being charged with a hate crime, what exactly do they consider it when these imams and their followers are calling for the destruction of Britain and the West?

  16. Seth Says:

    Wordsmith –

    “Freedom of religion”.

It doesn’t apply to Christians, only to Muslims.

    Go figure.

  17. BB-Idaho Says:

For your edification, there is a photo of ‘LionHeart
here: http://isupporttheresistance.blogspot.com/2008/01/racial-religious-hatred-act-2006.html where it is suggested that LH may seek asylum in the US rather than
face indictment in Bedford. The whole tempest is rather murky, with little in the line of facts. I suspect that BNP folk “We must secure the existence of our people and a future for White children” are swarming around the case. A different view of the BNP
    is given here: http://www.stopthebnp.org.uk/uncovered/pg02.htm.

The same thing would probably happen on this side of the pond if a conservative American blogger was thusly treated for speaking the truth about Islam — while those of us who are conservative and, while not racists, are concerned about preserving the sovereignty, heritage, culture and freedom of our nation in the face of a threat such as Islam or mass illegal immigration pose, there would naturally be those far to the “right” of us, white supremacists, et al, who would “express their interest” in the matter. We do, after all, have our own versions of the BNP over here. There have always been and always will be such people among us.

I do see why the Muslims in Britain would want to shut him up (he reports inconvenient truths about Islam and its agenda over there that people read), and from what I am given to understand, the British government has become dhimmitudis extremis of late, and that while they blatantly ignore dissenting voices from among their England-born Christian constituencies, they bend over backwards to keep their minority inventory of Muslims as happy as can be.

I expect that more of Lionheart’s story will be revealed this Friday on AOW and WC’s talk radio show, when they interview him.
