Detroit: A Liberal “Masterpiece” City
This video shows/explains/demonstrates (take your pick), in graphic detail, how Detroit, for decades a city run by liberals, has fared under the control of the political left, from lefty mayors to the UAW.
Is this what we want for the rest of the country as well? Lets just keep electing Obamas, Pelosis, Reids and the rest of that ilk, and find out….

Great Leftist Utopian triumph? I’m sure all their cronies have done well, pity about the idiots who voted for them …
Watching this I get the impression that Detroit may well be the first ‘modern’ city to be abandoned by it’s inhabitants if the video shows the whole picture. The sad thing is that in every ‘left wing’ governed city, county, province, state or nation, the corrupt prosper unchecked, the poor get poorer and more dependent on the handouts of the powerful and the middle class - who often vote for the lefties in the belief this is the best way to ’share’ their ‘wealth’ - eventually, but usually too late, realise they’ve been conned. But by then they are themselves ‘dependents’ and slowly sinking into the same poverty as everyone else.
You need a Baroness Thatcher to destroy the power of these Unions for you, but I suspect we only had the one - and they broke the mould once she was there.

If only we did have someone like the Iron Lady here in America!
The closest female politician cum political appointee we have to a strong leader is on the far left (and at least temporarily, though hopefully permanently retired from public life along with her famously philandering husband), and she’s more likely to lead us down the road to ultimate ruin.

Seth is still working on resolving an incident in which he was involved back in late 2008.
We expect him to be clear of said repercussions and back to blogging in the near future.

I’d be more likely to go with “mad as a hatter”, but then I’ve been involved in his ongoing misadventure, so I may be just a tad prejudiced.
