Eating Us Out Of House And Home!

That’s right, they have out-stayed their welcome!

Taxpayers spent $1.4 billion on Obama family last year, perks questioned in new book

Taxpayers spent $1.4 billion dollars on everything from staffing, housing, flying and entertaining President Obama and his family last year, according to the author of a new book on taxpayer-funded presidential perks.

In comparison, British taxpayers spent just $57.8 million on the royal family.

Author Robert Keith Gray writes in “Presidential Perks Gone Royal” that Obama isn’t the only president to have taken advantage of the expensive trappings of his office. But the amount of money spent on the first family, he argues, has risen tremendously under the Obama administration and needs to be reined in.

Gray told The Daily Caller that the $1.4 billion spent on the Obama family last year is the “total cost of the presidency,” factoring the cost of the “biggest staff in history at the highest wages ever,” a 50 percent increase in the numbers of appointed czars and an Air Force One “running with the frequency of a scheduled air line.”

“The most concerning thing, I think, is the use of taxpayer funds to actually abet his re-election,” Gray, who worked in the Eisenhower administration and for other Republican presidents, said in an interview with TheDC on Wednesday.

The last three years and eight months has been one long party for the Obamas, and all we seem to be getting in return is a few lies.

Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and others sure did paint a different picture of the events. Obama blasted the Internet video, Clinton said the attacks were not planned, and Obama dispatched his U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice to the Sunday talk shows to pitch the Obama talking points. Here’s a report from almost a week after the murders in Libya:

But now, as more information leaks out, the true story emerges.

The question to ask is “Why?” Why did Barack Obama lead a story line that he knew was false and misleading? Why?

Could it be that Obama just can’t bring himself to stand up to radical muslim terrorists? If that’s the case, then he has absolutely no business being president.

A great big Amen to that!

Was the above the only lie we can lay on President Obama’s doorstep?

No? You’ve got to be joking. This president has lied to us before?

You mean, there’s a whole list? A list of… Year by year, you say… You can’t be seri…

Oh, that list!

Sadly I think you’re saddled with him. Roney isn’t making a good impression in our press, though given their bias that’s perhaps not surprising. We have this same “the Royals are too expensive” thing every year - but the Prime Minister’s Office, never mind the Cabinet and the rest of the parasites called MPs - cost twice what the Queen costs and if you add in the Cabinet and their perks, five times the cost of the Royals. Once you thorugh in the Westminster pig trough - the figure is off the scale.

I’ve suggested before, our quickest way out of our debt crisis, is imprison every MP and stop paying them, hang all the senior civil servants and let the Queen and the Lords rule … The Lords cost about a fifth of what the MPs cost because they have no ’staf’ and no salary, just daily expenses. And those are restricted.

The real problems are posed by our grossly irresponsible left wing media, who place their political biases over the need of their readers, listeners, etc to receive fair, impartial news, and Romney himself.

The media, who want to retain Obama as president…

Let’s say Romney says he wants to modify the way mortgage deductions are executed. The media proclaims, “Romney wants to take away the mortgage deduction!”

Or Romney says too many Americans are receiving food stamps or welfare. “Romney will do away with all food stamps and welfare!” etc…

They communicate extremes that scare people away from voting for Romney.

As for Romney, he is not holding up his end too well. He is not speaking up for himself, not providing counter-arguments or precisely what he will do as president that will help bring the country out of recession. He therefore allows the media to put words in his moutn and get away with it. GW Bush was like that, but not quite to the same degree.

It’s maddening in the very least to see one of the good guys losing when they don’t have to, all they have to do is talk, but don’t.

We have the same problem with the left wing media. Everything is presented in a manner that frightens, its a trick Goebbels got from Lenin.
