Can’t Complain, At Least Not Across The Board

This is my first opportunity to comment on yesterday’s elections, so:

The Democrats and their liberal, excuse me, ahem, “progressive” mentors had their collective lunch eaten for them in the House (YES!), which was to be expected by an awakening America that’s had since January, 2007 to get a belly full of having Nancy Pelosi and her ilk at the helm.

The Senate could have fared better, however, not least by the political demise of that anti-America, kommie snake in the grass piece of feces Harry Reid, but he managed to prevail (durn!) while the bad guys lost only six seats to Team America.

However, as I said, we can’t complain too badly.

To you, Barack Hussein Obama, I say: 2012 is only 2 years away, so start typing your resume.

Don’t count on losing him or the Democrats in 2012. A week, as Churchill said, is a long time in politics - two years will give them plenty of time to find ways to further spread the left propaganda and convince the gullible among you that only BHO can “save America from the evil Republicans.”

    Good luck.

    Gray Monk,

    Thanks. :-)

We can only hope that enough Americans continue to remember just how acutely we’ve been burned since (first) the Democrats assumed their congressional majorities in Jan 1997 and (second) since Obama was inaugurated in Jan 2009, to refrain from repeating those mistakes at the polls in Nov 2012.

Fingers crossed on that one, though we do, fortunately, have a built-in reminder: The Tea Party-ers who, I hope, will continue their vigilance and their vigorous offensive against those, both Democrats and Republicans, who “forget” that they serve at the pleasure of The People, are elected to serve according to the guidelines laid out in the U.S. Constitution and can be removed, should it become necessary, in the very next election.

The voting public (hopefully all legal citizens) need only to keep hearing about the new apointees that the Oval Office keeps making that are in control of senstive groups that affect the American Safety to be reminded of just what a disaster was created with the last (prior to this most current one) election to consciously refrain from following a ‘johnny come lately’ Pied Piper.

The Tea Party was only a reminder of what the main OBLIGATION of citizenship is….to VOTE and, hopefully, continue to insure the continuation of the “AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE.”
The Tea Party reminded the Senior Citizen that this country is still not ready for them to sit back and trust the younger generation to insure the running of our government to those that would see it destroyed.

Citizens need to understand that Government is not a spectator sport!

    NH Meri Wido,

Spot-on, and, I suspect, the very reason why the left (and to some extent, the entrenched “old boy” Republicans on the Hill) have worked overtime to discredit the Tea Party… Between the election results of Novs 2006 and 2008, they like the status quo just fine.

It’s nice to see what happens (witness the 2010 election results) when citizens, thanks in large part to the Tea Party, begin to understand that Government is not a spectator sport! :-)
