So, Obama Wants To “Stimulate”…

…the economy some more (?) by “creating new jobs” in the transportation infrastructure.

I swear, any moron who is still a hard and fast Obama supporter will demonstrate his/her obtuseness by arguing in favor of the president’s plan as though it would usher him/her into a great paying job.

Sorry, numb nuts, but that ain’t the reality of the thing: The only people who benefit from B. Hussein Obama’s highway, runway and other large scale construction projects are the unions that supported his election campaign.

Obama will continue to reward them for supporting him off the back of the taxpaying public, keeping the unions working while ignoring the collective copious unemployment of the average citizen who’s not union.

Obama is so transparent that whenever I hear one of his supporters rave about the “great job” he’s doing, it reaffirms my lack of faith in the prevailing intelligence of collective Americans.

Well, Seth, I gotta admit..if it will fix the sorry goat trails that pass for US highways up my way..I gotta go along.

  2. Always On Watch Says:

Yep. BHO is trying to buy union votes and other votes as well.

Damn. Are Americans stupid enough to fall for this ploy? It might have worked to create good will for him before the other stimulus packages got voted in. But now?

Even if this latest Obama method of flushing the taxpayers’ money down the commode to nowhere makes it past Congress, I wouldn’t count on those goat trails seeing any improvements. More than likely, the most that would happen would be the erection of signs telling passing drivers that the construction ahead, which will be strangely and forever invisible, is a product of the “great stimulus”.

Remember, your neck of the woods, in the eyes of those you insist upon claiming as political fellow travelers, is as much a part of the “flyover zone” as Roundup, Montana. :-)

If some of the stuff I’ve been reading on the responses from Wall Street and even a lot of Democrats is any indicator, O may have taken the proverbial pitcher to the proverbial well too often.

His previous massive money dumps have done virtually nothing to improve the economy or even put a tiny dent in unemployment figures, and people are finally beginning to realize, albeit belatedly, that repeating mistakes does not solve a problem, whereas repeating formulae for success does.

Now, if they’d only realize that those formulae for success could be found in the Constitution, from whence they came when America was becoming a behemoth of unprecedented economic power, rather than in the over-regulation and other UNconstitutional interference on the part of the government that has brought our economy to its knees, we might begin to get back on track.

Step One in revitalizing our economy would, of course, have to be the purging from positions wherein treason can cause major harm, of such parasites as Barack Obama and his fellow socialist toilet cakes in the House and Senate.

Since tarring, feathering and riding the lot of them out of town on a rail wouldn’t “play well in Peoria”, so to speak, we’ll have to pray that a whole lot of our fellow Americans who have formerly voted hard to port will grow brains prior to their next trips to the polls.

I guess you’re right. If I’m stuck with goat trails, I’ll have to
trade in the goats for one of them there black helicopters…

Well, we have the right president in the White House and the right party in the majority (temporarily, VERY temporarily) to make those black helicopters a reality, since the left, when they run a country, are 99.9999999% more likely to lean towards totalitarianism than the right (and they don’t call us “the right” for nothing, y’know) to make those black helicopters a reality. :-)

But back to this president that so many misguided folks over there on the port side of the never-ending political debate elected in November, 2008 and his catering hand and foot to the unions at the taxpayer’s expense, face it: The best your goat trails can hope to get are those signs advertising non-existant work.

If you want to see proactive results, vote conservative. Enough years of fiscally responsible government would do more toward the money actually being available for really needed repairs and improvements than the irresponsible money mis-management of wish-list filling, vote buying masters of graft and corruption, better known as the far left controlled Democrats, who keep unemployment up and the coffers of taxdom broke.
