Charles Woods, the father of Tyrone Woods, who was killed in the 9/11 terrorist attack at the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya, reveals details of meeting Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton at the publically broadcast memorial service for the slain Americans at Andrews Air Force Base only days after the attack. And, in a recent radio appearance, Woods publicly questions who made the call not to send in back-up forces to possibly save his son’s life, as well as the three other Americans killed in Benghazi (which includes the American ambassador to Libya).

“When [Obama] came over to our little area” at Andrew Air Force Base, says Woods, “he kind of just mumbled, you know, ‘I’m sorry.’ His face was looking at me, but his eyes were looking over my shoulder like he could not look me in the eye. And it was not a sincere, ‘I’m really sorry, you know, that your son died,’ but it was totally insincere, more of whining type, ‘I’m sorry.’”

Woods says that shaking President Obama’s hands at his son’s memorial service was “like shaking hands with a dead fish.”

“It just didn’t feel right,” he says of his encounter with the commander in chief. “And now that it’s coming out that apparently the White House situation room was watching our people die in real time, as this was happening,” Woods says, he wants answers on what happened—and why there was no apparent effort to save his son’s life.

“Well, this is what Hillary did,” Woods continues. “She came over and, you know, did the same thing—separately came over and talked with me. I gave her a hug, shook her hand. And she did not appear to be one bit sincere—at all. And you know, she mentioned that the thing about, we’re going to have that person arrested and prosecuted that did the video. That was the first time I had even heard about anything like that.”

Yes, the indifference of this administration to our nation’s military, the people who put life and limb on the line on our behalf, is once again manifesting itself, not surprisingly, as it did when a campaigning B. Hussein Obama went to Afghanistan back in 2008 to talk to some brass, blatantly ignored troops who stood waiting to greet him after he arrived, then staged a fake photo op basketball shoot by himself that was supposed to look as though he were “shooting hoops” with the troops.

What an insincere hemorrhoid a whole lot of uninformed, flat out ignorant or simply America hating *ss#0!es subjected us to when they voted this creature into the White House four years ago.

Let’s hope we don’t see the same mistake made again!

It’s so amusing as to border on the pitiful that the Democrats, for whom every kind of election fraud from bundling and registering dead people to slipping illegal aliens into the polls should be “up in arms” over some highly unlikely theory that the Republicans are the ones engaging in election cheating.

They’ve actually invited the kommie and terrorist championing United Nations, that corrupt body of left wing global weaselhood, in to monitor our elections to ensure that the GOP doesn’t cheat.

United Nations-affiliated election monitors from Europe and central Asia will be at polling places around the U.S. looking for voter suppression activities by conservative groups, a concern raised by civil rights groups during a meeting this week. The intervention has drawn criticism from a prominent conservative-leaning group combating election fraud.

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), a United Nations partner on democratization and human rights projects, will deploy 44 observers from its human rights office around the country on Election Day to monitor an array of activities, including potential disputes at polling places. It’s part of a broader observation mission that will send out an additional 80 to 90 members of parliament from nearly 30 countries.

Liberal-leaning civil rights groups met with representatives from the OSCE this week to raise their fears about what they say are systematic efforts to suppress minority voters likely to vote for President Obama.

The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, the NAACP and the ACLU, among other groups, warned this month in a letter to Daan Everts, a senior official with OSCE, of “a coordinated political effort to disenfranchise millions of Americans — particularly traditionally disenfranchised groups like minorities.”

What a bunch of….

The request for foreign monitoring of election sites drew a strong rebuke from Catherine Engelbrecht, founder and president of True the Vote, a conservative-leaning group seeking to crack down on election fraud.

“These activist groups sought assistance not from American sources, but from the United Nations,” she said in a statement to The Hill. “The United Nations has no jurisdiction over American elections.”

Neil Simon, director of communications for the OSCE’s parliamentary assembly, agreed the U.N. does not have jurisdiction over U.S. elections but noted all OSCE member counties, which include the United States, have committed since 1990 to hold free and democratic elections and to allow one another to observe their elections.

The observers, from countries such as Germany, France, Serbia, Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, will observe voting at polling places and other political activity.

A Red Carpet for Radicals at the White House

A year-long investigation by the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT) has found that scores of known radical Islamists made hundreds of visits to the Obama White House, meeting with top administration officials.

Court documents and other records have identified many of these visitors as belonging to groups serving as fronts for the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas and other Islamic militant organizations.

The IPT made the discovery combing through millions of White House visitor log entries. IPT compared the visitors’ names with lists of known radical Islamists. Among the visitors were officials representing groups which have:

Been designated by the Department of Justice as unindicted co-conspirators in terrorist trials; Extolled Islamic terrorist groups including Hamas and Hizballah;
Obstructed terrorist investigations by instructing their followers not to cooperate with law enforcement;

Promoted the incendiary conspiratorial allegation that the United States is engaged in a “war against Islam”— a leading tool in recruiting Muslims to carry out acts of terror;
Repeatedly claimed that many of the Islamic terrorists convicted since 9-11 were framed by the U.S government as part of an anti-Muslim profiling campaign.

Individuals from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) visited the White House at least 20 times starting in 2009. In 2008, CAIR was listed as an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorist money laundering case in U.S. history – the trial of the Holy Land Foundation in which five HLF officials were convicted of funneling money to Hamas.

This must be what they call “blissful ignorance”, a state that seems extraordinarily common among a soon-to-be and newly voting aged generation that carries some sort of pre-requisite that one must stumble along among the public staring at a hand-held wireless display and a pair of ear buds firmly in place… don’t pay attention to where they’re going nor what’s happening around them while being effectively deafened by those ear buds and the music therefrom, apparently applying the same conscientious attention they don’t bother to pay to politics, ensuring that when they go to the polls on election day they’ll vote “bumper sticker”, since that particular left-handed propaganda technique has been perfected by a long host of totalitarian regimes… give the little air heads some simple slogans, don’t expect them to have to study the Constitution, read the fine print in the itemized “accomplishments” of an Executive Branch or other branches of Government or go over the details of a bill, line by line.

Entitlement parasites; these are largely people (apartment dwellers, according to the new liberal interpretation) who grew up in welfare families and who believe a hard day’s work is sitting in social services offices all day vying for free housing and monthly checks, both on the backs of the taxpayer, who do not believe they should have to work like most people.

So the above will have no problem voting for a “progressive” whose greatest skill is lying.

And the lies that prompted the above video were only a few among many.

Obama Was Golfing While Bin Laden Plan Unfolded Without Him

The Obama Administration has repeatedly spiked the football on President Obama’s “brave call” to order the killing of Osama bin Laden.

Given the Administration’s policy of placating enemies, it was the one event that stood out as demonstrating something like an American backbone.

According to a new report, however, the White House’s version of how it all happened is a lie.

Retired U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Paul E. Vallely has produced a report citing an insider intelligence source that claims the mission to kill bin Laden was hatched and given the go-ahead by Intelligence Director Leon Panetta and other White House staffers who deliberately kept the president out of the loop until the last minute.

According to the report, the reason Panetta, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Defense Secretary Robert Gates, Adm. Bill Mullen and Gen. David Petraeus went behind the president’s back is because Obama had rejected three previous kill missions on bin Laden earlier in the year.

Panetta was the leader of the subversives and signed off on the final “go” order. Only after the SEALs were committed did anyone go find Obama on the golf course and clue him in.

Obama “did not know of the raid in Abbottabad to kill Osama bin Laden on May 1, 2011, until after the helicopters with SEAL Team 6 had crossed into Pakistani airspace,” Vallely wrote.

And the Godfather Politics article migrates into still darker territory:

According to the book “Leading From Behind,” Obama’s chief adviser Valerie Jarrett was the person who convinced Obama to reject previous plans to get bin Laden.

The Iranian-born Jarrett is the power behind the throne in the White House. Although her religious affiliation is unknown (the media apparently forgot to ask), she was named Iranian of the Day in 2008 by Iranian.com, and she is the Administration’s voice in meetings with Muslim activists.

By all accounts, Obama doesn’t make a move without Jarrett’s advice. So Jarrett was the primary roadblock to taking out bin Laden, and it was to get around her that Panetta and company kept Obama in the dark.

Given the recent Libya coverup and allegations of Muslim Brotherhood infiltration of the Administration, it’s reasonable to ask if Jarrett might not be the Brotherhood’s connection to Obama’s leash.

Whether she is or not, one of Obama’s most trumpeted accomplishments, the killing of bin Laden, apparently is just another Administration lie.

This is the man the United States government helped get into power and now they want to give them over $400 million in aid paid for American taxpayers.

Oh, yes, and remember the “Stimulus” Bill?

With little notice, inspectors generals across federal agencies are piecing together criminal and civil cases into stimulus money that was misspent, wasted or defrauded.

The government’s chief spending watchdogs have already secured nearly 600 convictions and judgments against people and companies accused of misusing stimulus funds and have a whopping 1,900 investigations currently open into possible wrongdoing, officials say.

The wave of scrutiny more than three years after the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act was passed by Congress early in the Obama administration means the question of how money was managed early in the program is certain to extend well into the next year as many of the current investigations come to conclusion.

The Recovery Board charged with coordinating efforts among than inspectors generals at more than two dozen federal agencies that distributed stimulus money posted an item on its official blog last month claiming the total amount of money lost to fraud from the $840 billion stimulus program was a miniscule $11.1 million so far.

Vice President Joe Biden even made reference to the figure as he defended the stimulus program from attacks from Republican Rep. Paul Ryan during the vice presidential debate last Thursday. But that number only identifies money that is considered lost to fraud and does not include funds still under investigation or those recommended for reimbursement after audits identified misspending, officials said.

And a senior official familiar with the ongoing investigations by inspectors generals at federal agencies told the Washington Guardian the government expects the loss figure to balloon in coming months.

“These cases often take months or years, and we’ve got hundreds open right now across the government so that number is going to go up, probably by a large amount over the next 18 months,” the official said, speaking only on condition of anonymity because the official was not authorized to speak to the media.

Since the blog post a month ago that released the $11 million figure, several inspectors generals have announced new convictions, prosecutions or audits, a sign that some of the investigations are growing near decisions and actions.

Hmmmm…

For instance, the Energy Department inspector general reported last week it discovered the California energy commission collected two duplicate payments under a stimulus program that costs taxpayers $678,000 and and it recommended the money be repaid.

The Health and Human Services inspector general reported recently that a Louisiana group that received stimulus funds for Head Start programs for children had inappropriately spent nearly $1.2 million in federal funds to construct a new building that wasn’t approved by federal officials. The group is contesting the finding.

The Energy Department inspector general also warns in its most recent semiannual report that the Western Area Power Administration, which received $3.25 billion in borrowing authority to help build transmission lines under the stimulus law, is at risk of losing significant money on a transmission project for wind power in Montana that it funded.

“WAPA has significant financial exposure on the project … encountering significant delays and cost overruns,” the IG warned.

1. Libya. Joe Biden probably told what he believed to be the truth Thursday night as no sane government would trust Biden with confidential, much less Top Secret, information. In his epic performance he managed to contradict the sworn testimony of at least two senior State Department officials given to Congress this week. In an article titled “Analysis: Biden rekindles controversy over administration’s Libya statements“, the Chicago Tribune notes:

The Obama administration’s latest verbal bungle over the chain of events leading to the deadly attack in Benghazi, Libya, rekindled the controversy over the incident on Friday and offered new ammunition to Republican opponents.

In Thursday night’s vice presidential debate, Vice President Joe Biden insisted that “we weren’t told they wanted more security” at the ill-fated U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, where U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens died.

Biden’s statement, at least on the surface, appeared to contradict congressional testimony less than 48 hours earlier from State Department officials, and offered a fresh opening for Republican presidential challenger Mitt Romney, who has repeatedly sought to attack the White House over the issue.

Best advice from any really experienced liberal, here, would probably be “Wake up and lie right.”

2. Taxes. A center piece of the Obama regimes never ending quest to reduce the American middle class to penury is the tax plan to hit the wealthy with higher taxes to make them ostensibly pay their fair share. According to the regime, earning $250,000 per year makes you a marked man. Never mind that many families composed of a police officer or fireman and a teacher could easily fall into this category, for certain a couple of mid-level civil servants would qualify. In the debate, the wild-eyed Joe Biden made his claim:
“The middle class will pay less, and people making a million dollars or more will begin to contribute slightly more,” the vice president replied. “We’re arguing that the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy should be allowed to expire. Of the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy, 800 billion dollars of that goes to people making a minimum of a million dollars.”
The only problem here is that this is simply not true. Friday the White House had to revise and extent the Vice President’s remarks to the extent of forcing the hapless spokesmunchkin, Jay Carney, lie yet again to the White House press corps.
“Biden was describing the same policy that has long been his and the president’s — that the Bush tax cuts should be continued for the middle class and expire for those making more than $250,000,” the official said. “When he mentioned millionaires, he was providing an illustration of how much of the high-income tax cuts go to those making $1 million or more. If you take a look at the transcript and numbers below, it’s clear he was referring to a proposal that allows all the Bush tax cuts above $250,000 to expire.”
Indeed, the revenue figures Mr. Biden pointed to — raising $800 billion — only apply to the bigger tax increase.

One wonders whether Biden actually knows what the president has done and proposed to be done over the past four years.

RICHMOND, Va. — Mitt Romney criticized Vice President Biden on Friday for “directly contradicting the sworn testimony of State Department officials” during Thursday night’s vice-presidential debate, picking up on GOP attacks leveled at Biden in the hours since the exchange.

“He’s doubling down on denial, and we need to understand exactly what happened as opposed to just having people brush this aside,” Romney told a crowd gathered outside an auto dealership in Richmond. “When the vice president of the United States directly contradicts the sworn testimony of State Department officials, American citizens have the right to know just what’s going on.”

Biden said that “we” were unaware of security concerns in Libya. White House officials clarified Friday that the vice president was speaking for himself and President Obama. State Department officials, they said, had not passed on requests for more security.

Now, we have a White House that has been caught blatantly lying to us once again, among all their other transgressions, yet the media will still go to bat for them and millions of people who think they have the moral right to call themselves Americans will vote to reelect this travesty.

From our point of view here at Hard Astarboard, Romney and Ryan have both acquitted themselves as winners in their debates thus far.

Romney credited his running mate, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), for his debate performance, calling the lawmaker “thoughtful, respectful, steady, poised, the kind of person you want to turn to in a crisis.”

Referring to Biden later, Romney said: “The other candidate of course just attacked. The American people are looking for answers, not attacks.”

What does Mr. Romney expect?

The left, having no talking points to speak of, hide behind the refuge of attacks —
Racist! War Monger! Evil corporation! Liar! Whatever, just kep repeating it and the people will come to believe it.

The president’s outreach and fundraising have targeted websites in Chinese, Arabic, Thai, and Korean.
68% of the traffic to the site is foreign traffic. Donations from foreign nations are illegal.
The White House pressed for suppression of this report.
