I’ve Long Said That I Believe That Bill & Hillary Are…

…criminals who are really good at getting away with stuff. Nothing big, you understand, just small things like Whitewater, treason, perjury, you know, just your run-of-the-mill offenses.

Today I received an email invite to check out a website called Wonkosphere.com, which is an extensive reference to affairs concerning the 2008 election.

I followed their link and right off the bat, ran into this:

While the press gyrates in unison over the over-exaggerated scandal of Senator Larry Craig the media pretty much ignores the fact that one of Hillary Clinton’s biggest fundraisers has been a fugitive from justice for 15 years.

“Wow,” I exclaimed, “what’s up with this?”

California authorities have sought businessman Norman Hsu for 15 years. Since 2004, he has carved out a place of honor raising cash for such candidates as Hillary Rodham Clinton.

And then the kicker,

The teaser however is just a small part of the story. The man pleaded guilty to grand theft in a stock swindle before disappearing from the sight of everyone but Democrat politicians who gladly welcomed the man in. I guess he was too busy working for Democrats to serve his time in jail.

Read the rest here.

I suppose that to Bubba and the missus, money from a fellow criminal simply keeps the lucre “in house”.

While the press may salivate over the salacious details of Idaho’s esteemed senator, please note that us Dems are not the ones jumping on. We got potatoes to grow, and it is a given that the GOP Governor, the GOP legistlators and the GOP state will replace him if necessary. Since Mitt will need a new Idaho campaign leader, I recommend the redoubtable Bill Sali (http://idahofallz.com/2006/11/02/i-wish-absolute-idiot-sali-was-one-of-my-choices/)

It’s only a scandal if the GOP is at fault. If the Donks are doing something wrong it’s a misunderstanding or persecution by an overzealous GOP.

Bubba and the Hildabeast have always had the ability to get away with murder literally. They have always had shady fund raisung issues yet no one questions or follows up on the possibilty of criminal activity.

If this incident had involved a GOP candidate not only would the guy in question be BBQed but the candidate would be run off the campaign trail in disgrace.

The classic liberal double standard amplified because it is the Hildabeast.

    BB –

I’d never heard of Sali before, but in reading a link from your link, to a post at a blog called IdaBlue re his purportedly fraudulent lawsuit over auto accident injuries (the profoundly liberal blogger had pics of documents and an entire case laid out, well done), as always I read the comment thread. The last comment there was apparently from a sharp fact-checker who noted that the blogger had the wrong guy — the person who filed the lawsuit was named “Salli”. :-)

    “How embarrassing,” LOL.

    Shoprat –

That’s always the way it works out, with the MSM on hand to whitewash Democrats’ scandalous episodes but mount major campaigns over Republican indiscretions.

That’s one reason I can’t help but shake my head when a Democrat tries to tell me the MSM is conservative biased.

    Ken –

The Clintons have gotten away with so much illegal, immoral and other questionable activities — they are by far the biggest disgrace of all to the Democrats, yet the Dems continue to treat them like icons of goodness and light.

They should not be in politics, they should be in prison!

Just proves that Bill and his buddy Tony Blair (Or B’Liar) are no different. In fact proves what I have long thought about all politicians everywhere - the whole lot are crooked as hell. I would n’t want them to know I have a wallet because they’d sure as hell steal it if they had a chance.

One of my favorite expressions to that end is “Don’t tell my mother I’m a politician. She thinks I play the piano in a whorehouse.”
