Maybe It’s In Poor Taste, But….

…. one might speculate that Rachel Corrie, who went to Israel to champion the cause of terrorists, actually bonded with Judaism in her own way, perhaps even became Kosher for Passover — after all, she did, in her own way, become a matzoh….

Please tell me this was the result of some random misfiring of neurons or an act of temporary insanity…

    Civil Truth –

I feel no compassion whatsoever for Corrie. The organization she belonged to harbored terrorists, one in particular the most sought-after bomb maker on the Palestinian duty roster.

She and her compatriots were not in Israel to make peace, they were there to abet terrorism.

The bulldozer she bonded with was en route to wrecking a house used, via underground tunnel, for smuggling weapons and explosives into Israel from Egypt.

She was no better than Gudrun Enslin.

Being Jewish myself, and us being a humorous people who can laugh at ourselves, I have no problem with my matzoh analogy. :-)

But why are you “out-of-the-blue” writing about her 3-1/2-plus years after her death? Did I miss some recent news story?

    Civil Truth –

When I did this post, I had just read a piece about a new one-woman film glorifying Corrie.

I think it is obscene that any semblance of honor should be attached to a supporter of terrorists.

    Context is everything…truce.

    Truce, LOL!
