NAU Revisited

Not too long ago, I posted about the coming of the North American Union, an agenda which, much to my chagrin, is being engineered by the man I voted for twice for President and his counterparts in Mexico and Canada.

Some commenters took this either with a grain of salt, some with a degree of alarm, some, I thought, may have humored me with their comments.

As they say, it’s all good. The very concept sounds both farfetched and absurd, like the plot of a Robert Ludlum novel or the fantasies of a serious paranoid.

After all, conspiracy theories abound, right?

I had thought my research on the subject was pretty extensive, in fact, somewhere along the line I was reminded of my ex-wife’s own “ravings”, back in the days of the Carter Administration, when she talked about then National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski’s ambitions toward what was called the Trilateral Commission.

In those days I was still kinda’ sorta’ liberal and pretty laid back, and to tell the truth, couldn’t give the proverbial “flying fuck” about such things. Please excuse mah French (spit!)….

In the comments section of my post on the North American Union ambitions of those involved, the forever awesome Always On Watch suggested that I contact a great blog called Sixth Column, who had been following the NAU proceedings for some time. I did.

We resolved to share information on anything our respective research unearthed on the subject. In that quarter, they have thus far kicked my ass, LOL.

An emailed article I recently received provides the entire history, names, methods, intentions, chronology and all, of events leading up to what is now the plan for the North American Union. It is lengthy and will require some time, but I urge you to read it in its entirety.

It should convince you, in alarming detail, of what is to come in the next four years, no matter what else occurs in the political spectrum of the United States of America.

It is here.

As I said last time out, we are indeed in grave trouble, because our very sovereignty is about to be sacrificed on the altar of corporate expediency. While our future Congresses and POTUSes will govern our country, they will be like state legislatures, while extranational congresses determine the details of our economy (a collective with Mexico and Canada), eventually becoming part of a global collective consisting of the EU, the NAU, the SAU, the AU, etc….

We are in big trouble here, a world government awaits just around the corner, and most unfortunately, the politicians who might be able to prevent it are being kept outside the loop.

As I said in my previous post about this, the involved congresses/parliaments, etc involved herein have been kept in the dark about it, as has the media.

I am wondering whether we are going to wake up and deal with this, or whether we’re simply going to drift into it in blissful ignorance, becoming an entirely different country….

ULTRA-MAJOR and MEGA-GRATEFUL hat tip to CUBED!

    Seth,

I really didn’t need to hear all this. I thought things were bad enough with Europe and us precipitously teetering on the edge with socialism… sigh…

“This is serious”, said Pooh. “I must find an escape.”

    Atheling2 –

Socialism figures into this in a big way, since governance will eventually fall into the lap of the UN or components thereof.

A mom & dad style governing body would also benefit a corporate leadership as it would provide more direct control over the people.

I would really, really like to be wrong about this, but evidence is evidence….

That’s ridiculous and even you know it.

Before you spout, why don’t you take a little time to do some research. Maybe read the second link I posted — read it and think about it. I know it’s long and you’re a very busy liberal, but…

Here is the TLC’s own website:

    http://www.trilateral.org/

What do you suppose these people discuss among themselves that they need an organization to do it? Have you any idea who their members are?

No, you’re just spouting as usual.

  5. Arthur Stone Says:

Not so busy that I haven’ t read a fair amount about the Trilateral Commission, the United Nations and black helicopters over the years.

Neither the Trilateral Commission or the United Nations is about global governance.

    That’s what the S&P 500 is for.

  6. Seth Says:

    Arthur –

    Black helicopters, LOL.

The evidence is there, I’ve provided enough checkable stuff via the links in my two posts on the subject. What you get from reading them is what you get from reading them.

There is no MSM coverage of this and no Congressional upheaval and it is not surprising: The TLC consists of some of the richest and most powerful people in the world, and they have an agenda that is the most ambitious in history.

The EU is the first phase of several. The Security & Prosperity protocol, a stealth euphemism for North American Union, will be the second.

You can debate this until you’re blue in the face, but four years from now when our southern security perimeter is in southern Mexico and there is no international border with Canada, you can tell me again about how ridiculous I am being.

Absolutely Seth. I put it in my calendar.

The critical factor is that, in the West, capital is being depleted from entrepreneurs and nation-states (the latter good, the former not good) and is accumulating in trans-national private enterprises - coupled with the technology (esp informational and transport) to make integrated global trade feasible as never before. As their economic power ebbs, nation-states will find it increasingly hard to maintain their political power. This, in a nutshell, is the NAU-Trilateral vision.

Where I would principally differ from the article you linked to is the article tends to approach things in a conspiratorial fashion, which puts undue importance on a set of individuals subverting an existing stable order. I would put more emphasis on the economic imperatives, which makes the process more inexorable in the longer term precisely because it’s not personality-driven.

Or to put it another way, the Trilateral Commission, etc, are riders of a horse; they’re not the horse. That is, they think themselves more important than they are; if we fall into the trap of agreeing with their view of their importance, we may ironically empower their vision in a way that they alone cannot. If we don’t like this future, we need to find a way to change the economic trends (deal with the horse) rather than thinking that its all about the riders.

Moreover, there are two major roadblocks to this future: the first hopeful, the second horrific.

The first is the hope that these trans-national unions will prove to be dinosaurs, within which new tribes will emerge as mammals to create a new system when the dinosaurs go extinct.

The second, which is confronting us on a daily basis, reflects the fact that there is one large actor in the world today which does not buy into the NAU-Trilateral view of the world — the Islamists. Of course, if they prevail, then we either face the new caliphate or the combination of large-scale wars and death in conjunction with economic collapse.

What a choice - NAU or the Islamists! Time to find the mammals.

  9. Seth Says:

    Civil Truth –

In this, your thinking echoes mine (or mine yours).

As I said — Islam is the fly in the ointment.

The problem is that, since We The People are pretty much nothing to the financial elite, other than the anonymous cogs that perpetuate the functioning of their machine, we don’t seem to have any avenue of input that matters to them. Sure, we can vote, but who’s to say that the President, senator, representative or even dog catcher we vote for isn’t either a member of the TLC or a purchase of same?

This is a fearful situation, for sure, and once again, for at least the 80th time, I repeat that I am so glad I’ve passed the 50 year mark.

    Arthur –

I’ll start gathering crow recipes for you. Do you like chestnut stuffing, or something more simple, like wild rice?
